Hare Krishna Prabhujis and Matajis,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Happy Thanksgiving!

On this Thanksgiving Day, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and admiration to all the volunteers who have come together throughout the year to render various services to the temple. Your efforts, inspired by a sincere desire to please our beloved Lordships Sri Sri Radha Krishna and our founder-acharya Srila Prabhupada, are deeply appreciated.

Srila Prabhupada beautifully writes in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam 4.30.8:

“Since the sons of King Prācīnabarhiṣat were all united in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, the Lord was very pleased with them. Each and every one of the sons of King Prācīnabarhiṣat was an individual soul, but they were united in offering transcendental service to the Lord. The unity of the individual souls attempting to satisfy the Supreme Lord or rendering service to the Lord is real unity.”

This unity, as described by Srila Prabhupada, is a beautiful manifestation of our collective effort in Krishna consciousness. Loving relationships among devotees’ blossom when we come together to serve Krishna with the goal of pleasing Him. The catalyst for such unity is the regular practice of hearing and chanting the holy names of the Lord.

As we increase our hearing and chanting, we come to realize that personal sacrifices are both necessary and joyful in serving the Lord’s mission. By coming together in this spirit of devotion, we foster loving exchanges and expand this selfless love within the community we live in, bringing true peace, hope, and joy to countless hearts.

Once again, thank you for your invaluable help, support, and service in furthering Srila Prabhupada’s mission. I pray that we may continue serving together in unity, for the pleasure of the Supreme Lord and the upliftment of our community.

Wishing you all a safe and Krishna conscious Thanksgiving!

Your servant,

Satya Sara das
